Joey just landed in Chicago and found out from his caseworker that the former pastor of Calvary Memorial has pancreatic and lung cancer. Pastor James was Joey's pastor there from 2013-2021, when he retired. I have heard him preach. He is a tender hearted man who centers on Christ and draws people to Him. He took over loving Joey right where Pastor Baker left off. Joey (and his caseworker and everyone) is devastated. Please pray for Calvary Memorial and for Pastor James at this time.
