The pic is Joey at Harvest Festival last Tuesday. I love that his program manager took the time to get several pics of him and send them to us.

Also, today marked exactly two years since my mom died, so Dad had a luncheon in a private room in his building for my sibs and their spouses, his brother and family, and his sister's widower and companion (ten people total). A real giggle was that my sister-in-law played the video Noel made of me singing last week and Dad kept repeating to me when we talked later that he had no idea I sang soloes in church! Somehow this Daddy's girl went 23 years without conveying that to him.

It was a good day. We miss our loved ones who have gone before us, but my mom led my aunt to the LORD so commemorating them together seems fitting. How beautiful is the Body of Christ!
