Let's see if this link works on here.
Lots of you know that Noel and I saw this art exhibit in Grand Rapids in September and thought it was fabulous.
It is now coming to VB and some of the times may sell out fast. It is pricey but there is a military discount and a senior discount, both.
The art moves past you on the walls, ceiling, and on other structures in the room. One painting changes into another. The full production runs about 45 minutes but then we changed seats and got a view in the other direction for another 45 minutes. They figure 1.5 hours per person and they do not let in too many people at once, so you can relax, sit down, and enjoy the lavish colors and movements of the art.
There are also around ten smaller rooms to give Van Gogh's history and some other unique views of his work.
He was a tortured, mentally ill person who nonetheless had an almost unlimited ability to express beauty in art (which we know is God-given, whether acknowledged or not).
Noel and I may go a second time. It is that good.
