Friends, I am headed up to Fairfax in the morning as my best friend is giving a baby shower for her daughter in law and that soon-to-be here first grand baby! I am coming home tomorrow evening, by God's grace.
It has been quite a while since I have driven that many hours by myself and podcasts were invented since then.
Since I like to read and watch old black and white movies, I am not very familiar with podcasts. Do you have any good ones to recommend for me to listen to on my drive? I have an iPhone, if that matters.
I know you like history, so I’m going to suggest The Making of Modern Ukraine by historian Timothy Snyder. It actually is a class that he taught at Yale last fall and made available for free to the public as a podcast (and on video on YouTube). Really fascinating. He starts his history of the region with the migration of the Scythians between the 7th-3rd century BC and ends in modern day.
Go to Spotify and look for Jenny Tacon. She has 2… wonderful testimony
