I can hardly believe we are reading twice this week about events in Muslim North Africa in which over 2000 people perished. North Libya, bordering the Mediterranean Sea, had a torrential downpour hit with extensive flooding. Several dams collapsed and much infrastructure washed into the sea. Two thousand are known to be dead; 10,000 are missing.
The world calls this climate change; we call it God's movement toward the end of times (that can include climate change). But He will not end things till the last soul comes in, according to His plan. Our job is, of course, to witness, give, and pray. Please let's pray for all these bereaved families in Libya (and Morocco, too). They have not always been U.S. allies as countries but God loves the people there!
🙏🙏🙏
Update: 5200 dead. Libya’s population is 6.7 million. Virginia’s is 7.6 million. This is comparable to having that many people in Virginia die in a single event. All souls with eternal significance.
We’ll said Mary.
Thank you for sharing this, Mary.
Wow, I have not been watching the news. This is tremendous 😯
