I am using this space to get ideas from you (and from the Word, our ultimate source). In I Thessalonians 5:18, we are told to give thanks in everything.
We are trying to use that principle to help Joey overcome a tendency to always see the dark cloud in every silver lining. We find if we tell him the most amazing blessings God has given us as a family, he will give thanks, but then start right up finding something else to complain or grumble about.
I think maybe some personalities are just more prone to finding things to grumble about.
What have you guys found to be helpful with the "grumblers" in your life?
Someone said, "When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change". How true that is!!!
Philippians 4:11 has always been a great encouragement to me throughout my ministry in Christian Education. The verse says: "Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.".
