His Wisdom

I am reminded of two great sayings today:

“If any other circumstances would have been better for you than the ones in which you currently find yourself, our loving Father would have placed you there.”

And

“If you knew all that God knows about your circumstances, you would choose exactly what He chooses for your life.”

Thankful for another clear mammogram. Year #16.

Thank you, my friend. I was aware at the time that I could die and it would be okay, within God’s will for me. I preferred to live and I fought the cancer with every tool medicine could bring to bear, but when people told me my positive outlook would surely keep me alive, I realized they were not considering that God’s love would remain real no matter how things turned out! :-)

Even as I was writing this, Joey informed me that one of the Anchor administrators, Tina who picks up and distributes his prescription meds every month, lost her husband this morning to a heart attack. They are slightly younger than us. We ask God “why?” knowing that even when He is silent, the work of His Son answers all our questions.
