To be clear, Melvin did not pass away. He went home to their house. Sorry if you were confused. 😉
PRAISE
Today we were told there were only 3 girls needed for prison. The church sent out 3 girls and I am thankful to have been one of the girls they sent out. There are currently only 2 girls in the prison center. Carmen, whom I refer to as “my girl”, is one and the other Breanna. Carmen was one the girls who accepted the Lord as her Savior two weeks ago. Carmen has been there since we began this ministry a few weeks ago and won’t be leaving anytime soon. It has been great seeing her become more comfortable with me and the other girls and getting to see her personality. She always has good questions and today she was asking so many! Which is wonderful. Even the officer in change (Miss Whitney) was engaging and she told us she is happy we come. She told us there is a catholic group who comes and that they teach things completely against what we teach and it confuses the girls. Miss Whitney told us that the girls always look forward to seeing us because they believe what we say because we provide evidence from the Word. It has been such a blessing to be apart of this ministry. Please pray for Breanna as she will be released today. Pray for Carmen and her walk with the Lord. She is one brilliant young girl and is willing to learn more about the Lord. She challenges me every week and is a blessing to me. Pray for Miss Whitney, as she is becoming more comfortable with us and engaging in our lessons with the girls, that she may get saved if she doesn’t know the Lord. Praise the Lord with me for all He has done already and for all He is going to do!
