UPDATE!! 8/6/24 second update Daniel-Lorrie Peters

Praise God!! From crisis to transition in less than 36 hours! Daniel was transitioned to rehab this afternoon for a two week stay. He will have intense physical therapy over the next two weeks to get him ready to go home. He is expectedly exhausted from a full day. Therapy starts tomorrow at 7:30. His healing process is anticipated to be about 3 months.

Please pray for his pain tolerance during therapy and also for his feelings of claustrophobia. He is always active and to be confined to bed and/or a chair most hours of the day can trigger his claustrophobia. He is also wearing a brace on his rib cage whenever he is up and that can feel confining as well, and the rib fractures keep him from taking deep breaths without significant pain.

Please continue to lift him and his family up in prayer. It’s such an encouragement to him, and he is grateful for all of you!
