This year I was only able to help with the first two nights of VBS due to being on a swing shift at work. But what a blessing those two nights were.

I was in the 3-5 year old class. The first night broke last year's record (16 kids every night) with 18! The second night was 25! Beyond the numbers was the sheer enthusiasm of these young babes, many of them unchurched. They play hard, even if they are too young to understand the rules of the games and just run all over the field!

But best of all were my coworkers. The teens and their parents were the champions of this class. Ruth Whiting is an awesome professional teacher; Eric and Titus are great assistants. Felecia and Sara and Mar and Grace all helped glue the endeavor together, along with their girls. It was hard work but so much fun! Thank you all for being there to share the experience! Now tonight is the fair, which I will also have to miss. As a sister in Christ, I urge you all to be there for support and in case the Lord should lead you into a gospel conversation with one of the parents! I love our church family! We turn up for each other!
