Did everyone else feel the movement off of the mountain into the valley today? Was it good to rest up (it was for me)? Did you catch up on things around the house (yes!)? Did you really miss the close fellowship of the past few days (yes, but I had to get back to work, too)?

This was my favorite missions conference ever. I did not miss one meeting. And I think my favorite parts were all the third and fourth generation missionaries (four, if you count Anthony Bell, who already feels called to missions at 11) and the fact that Dr. Steadman had an entire series of messages on one theme, our church's theme for the year, and from one book, Mark. Even the picnic devotional matched!

I love that we were forewarned by Dr. Steadman that today would be a withdrawal from the mountaintop experience to the valley where we live. Thanks to all the people who did so much more than some of us can do, when we work fulltime far away from the church. We just attended, gave to the offering and the gift card collection, and took the delightful Bells out to eat. All sheer joy!
