Since you have prayed for us, let me update you: Joey's internship at Walgreens ended Friday. They have offered him one shift a week, mainly stocking shelves. We are pleased at this progress in his work life. He will continue to do the other four days at the sheltered workshop as we see how this goes! I saw the orthopedist today about my knee. I asked for the doctor least likely to recommend surgery. Dr. Patton is not even a surgeon and believes in taking things slowly with therapies. He is also British! As it turns out, they redid the X-rays today and both of my knees have bone on bone osteoarthritis, not just one. The doctor was extremely pleased that the anti-inflammatory had taken away my pain almost instantaneously. Since the other prescription was an opioid painkiller that did nothing for me, we agreed not to renew it. The next stage is physical therapy for a while. Thanks so much for praying!
