By the time we hit our car after church this morning, I had a message from my cousin who is like a sister and has been one of my best friends since I was two (when she was born).
She has had a rough year with illness and surgery and I have been keeping up with her but not with urging her to watch our livestream, which she began to do during the pandemic. Yet she turned it on today and watched the cantata. Her two granddaughters were distracting her so much she plans to watch it again. She said it was wonderful!
My cousin is unchurched. For some reason, her mom (my dad's sister) stopped going to church when she hit adulthood. My mom led my aunt to Jesus before Aunt Barb died,
Ever since we did The Exchange, I have wanted to have a long conversation with my cousin about the Lord Jesus. I know she believes she is saved due to our grandmother's influence. Every time we are on the verge of going deeper, those granddaughters or her husband come in and change the subject! She lives in Michigan--every time we go up there, I ask the Lord to let this be the time.
Her son is saved and says he wants me to lead his mom to the Lord!
Yeah, our family is never a calm, quiet group of people.
Please pray that this cantata continues to speak to Julie. Pastor did give a salvation message!
I had Nursery duty this morning so I didn't get a good opportunity to hear the Cantata, but I plan on watching this afternoon. Praying you get that opportunity with your cousin 🙏🏽
