They posted Lydia Update: We are still in Cincinnati. We continue to stay at Ronald McDonald House. We anticipate being here for at least another week. We are so grateful for the wonderful job RMH does. (We highly recommend them for support!) Lydia saw Pain & Palliative Care today and got some blood drawn. Tomorrow she will get some X-rays and she has an ultrasound scheduled for Wednesday. She has had a good 2-3 day run with less pain and agitation. It seems the Methadone may finally be reaching a therapeutic level. She has continued to have some intermittent vomiting, but there are less episodes than before. The Pain & Palliative doctor was very supportive of our desire to have additional imaging done and she said she would advocate for this to the other doctor who was less accommodating last Wednesday. We just want to know what is causing her so much pain even though we realize it is probably not a correctable problem. We are hoping to schedule appointments with cranial/facial, gastro, and ophthalmology while we are here. Thanks for your interest and support for our Sweetie Baby!
