We had a wonderful Family Night tonight with the zaniest skits I have ever seen at camp. Thank you, Pastor, for bringing the Edge staff to us.

Since we did not have formal prayer meetings today, I wanted to pass along a few prayer requests from our direction:

1. A young man in Union Grove, living in the apartments across the street from Joey, used to be in Joey's Anchor program. He then was recently able to live and work on his own without community supports. Unfortunately, he was found dead at age 33 last Wednesday. It seems to have been natural causes and it seems to have been so sudden that he did not even try to get help. Please pray for the grieving family and community. Leaving the name off because Joey does not think the obituary was published yet.

2. Meagan Potter's stepdad John Tant, whom we have prayed for recently as he filled in for his church's pastor during an illness, seems to have a few more Sundays that they need him while the pastor has various medical procedures. He specifically asked for us to pray for him as he prepares a sermon each week for the near term.

3. Many of us are following on Facebook, but Cody and Emily Mitchell were cleared by the Navy to use Japanese IVF after years of infertility (they are living at Iwakuni). Emily is now carrying their twins!
