Pray for Alice Bayse this morning, she has to be at Chesapeake Regional Hospital at 7am. She is having her mediport put in to start Immunotherapy February 11 th. She will have 1 treatment a month, for 2 hours. The doctor said she was not a candidate for surgery, radiation nor Chemo. Melanoma responds well to the Immunotherapy. It is considered stage four, but it is not in her major organs or brain. They will do blood work every 3 weeks after the treatment to see how she handles the treatments. He will take it one treatment at a time.

Update

They just took her back. 45 minutes to an hour. Then 45 to 1 hr for recovery.

2nd update. All went well. Having Hardee's maple biscuits and headed back to Autumn Care.
