Today, the Supreme Court will hear the next big case for religious freedom. Lorie Smith is a graphic designer out of Colorado. She has chosen not to create wedding websites for same-sex weddings since it violates her religious beliefs. The central issue of the case is whether Colorado forcing someone in public accommodation to speak is a violation of the Free Speech Clause of the First Amendment. Allowing a government to compel speech would change First Amendment precedent is a very negative way. Let's pray for Lorie and those who argue for her today.

Thank you taking the time to share this issue. We know it’s not only this case at stake but the ruling can become precedent and used in future law cases to rule against Christians and ultimately the Lord. Praying! 🙏🙏
I’m praying too.

We are fervently praying for all involved.
Very well put, Elizabeth. You are in law school at Regent, right? For us government employees, the issue of compelled speech is huge. So far, if we are just silent about the LGBTQ things around us, we do our jobs and work in peace. If we are compelled to make supportive statements about LGBTQ things, all that will end and many of us will be forced to resign in order to follow God’s commandments about not openly supporting lies.
