If you watch or read the news, you will be aware that a lot of warlike things happened this week, particularly in the Middle East but also elsewhere. In one of those major conflicts, Russia bombed Ukraine more intensely than they have since the war began over there.
I received a note Thursday from Troy and Oksana Manning thanking me for greeting them in Russian on our missionary video this year.
At the time, I used each missionary's language because the greetings were for them. But now I want to share that Oksana's family, still in Ukraine, is something that weighs heavily on their hearts. I was assuring them our church family remembers and prays for Oksana's family during this war. So, for anyone who needs an update, Troy, Oksana, and kids live peaceably in Michigan doing translation work, but her parents and siblings are still in Ukraine and still need (much) prayer for safety!

Thank you for the update.
So, so sorry that Oksana's family is still in Ukraine. I prayed for God's protection on them, and I prayed for the hearts of Troy and Oksana.
