Siony Peterson recently had surgery to remove a large growth near her thyroid gland in her neck. Her thyroid gland and lymph nodes on the left side of her neck were removed also. The pathology report came back positive for cancer. She has since had a subsequent surgery to remove lymph nodes on the right side also. She is resting well after her most recent surgery today. At this time, they are awaiting the results from pathology for any involvement in those lymph nodes or other parts of her body. Cancer is a scary word … but the comfort of God’s Word and the love of God’s people make a real difference in such difficult times. Earnestly pray for these dear folks.
