PRAISE 🙌

Many times people spend the month of November naming one thing each day for which they are thankful, often on Facebook.

I took the challenge this year but narrowed it down. In light of missions conference and Charlie Kirk and all of us realizing we are all called to fulfill the Great Commission and “make Heaven crowded,” I have been doing thirty days of gratitude for God’s salvation.

If you are my FB friend, you can read them. And even suggest more!

By the end, every FB friend I have will have had the opportunity to see every single part of the plan of salvation they would need to know to be saved. I know it is simple enough for a child but I am also addressing the crowd who would say, “Well, I am glad Jesus works for you, Mary, but I believe something else.” Also the crowd who say they believe in Jesus but still deep down inside believe that salvation depends on their works (I think we knew a lot of them in the Episcopal church).

I will not finish by thinking, “Well, I told them. Now if they go to hell, it is on them.”

No, I want to live my life believing, as Pastor has said, that people I know have to pass right through me to get to hell. Not that I am special, but that He is so special He is worth slowing down someone on the path to hell to tell them about Him, time after time. That is not being special. That is, at heart, basic obedience.
