Joey went to a funeral today. One of his helpers, who is Noel’s age, lost her son to cancer. He did not initially want to go on his day off but I convinced him he needed to support Marilyn, who is an extremely kind woman.

The pastor made a statement that if you do not know with certainty that if you died right now you are heaven bound, then you are not saved. Joey told me later and said, “But, Mom, I have OCD.”

I wrote back, “Because lots of people with OCD try to get saved over and over. I did. Jesus did the work for us. We just have to trust that He did.”

Joey responded, “I trust that 100%.”

His response made this mama’s heart so happy. Christ’s finished work can even triumph over OCD.
