A Sweet Familymember is with Jesus!
Yesterday my mom’s 90 plus cousin Millie Grit flew into the arms of Jesus!
Since my mom’s parents divorced and her grandparents raised her, she grew up next door to Millie who became like a sister to her. I remember once asking Millie to pick me up from the airport to surprise my mom and Millie saying, “I would do anything for Sandy.”
She and Marv never had children but they served faithfully in their church. Ironically, they both got terminal cancer diagnoses at the same time. Now that Marv has successfully seen his sweetheart off to heaven, I am sure he will join her quite soon.
Remarkably, they are in the same house they were in when I was born 68 years ago. They managed to live till their 90’s without needing assisted living (Millie had hospice coming to the house at the end).
God bless them and please pray for our saddened family. We will miss Millie a lot!
