Tornado Warning
Yes, that was apparently us with the 1 AM tornado. Thankful the phone awakened me and, by the time we had the news on and realized it was indeed in Bayside, it was already headed out to sea. Less than five minutes of terror. God is good.

And now, less than two months later, we did it again.
We had just dropped Joey home after dinner last night and were getting our clothes out of the car at the hotel when we heard the civil defense sirens. I ran in and asked the desk clerk where the shelter was. While desk clerk was calling to find out, Noel and I did what every parent in America does and went to the third floor to retrieve our charging phones and call Joey! We then spent the next hour in the lobby with 20 other guests, 15 minutes in a central, windowless hallway.
God is good. We are ready to start for my Dad’s after breakfast.
