Today's first storytime in TBA's Library included some good discussions of what a story is, when it is fiction, and when it is non-fiction. We made sure to understand that every word of the Bible is true so its stories are all non-fiction. However, C.S. Lewis wrote stories that can help us live better--he even used symbols to make some of his characters remind us of real people. We used the library picture of Dr. Bieber to define a symbol. It represents him but it is not him. We had a lot of fun today getting to know each other!
