The deaths of three Americans in wartime conditions this week has led many to despair.

I personally see Pastor's point that no politician will ever solve the huge mess we find ourselves in worldwide.

But Jesus . . .

And I find it is okay this week to bring God into secular conversations. So there is something good in all the despair.

Non-Christians are very cynical right now and cynical ideas easily lead onward to hopelessness.

We can help them not be hopeless (last Sunday's sermon).
