Lydia is out of surgery. The neurosurgeon said she did great through the procedure. He debunked over 50% of the mass, but he said it doesn’t look like more than 10-25% visibly. Mass fragments have been sent to pathology, as well as CFS fluid. He said the tissue doesn’t look cancerous, but a biopsy will have to determine that. He replaced the shunt valve while he was in there. He thinks the mass could very well be the source of her pain, but we may not know right away. She is resting comfortably in the pediatric ICU at this time. Thank you all for praying for her. We are grateful.
