Believers are prone to adhering to patterns of life and behavior, especially those patterns contrived and "established" by other humans, but in a true relationship to God, they must not do so . . . unless that pattern is clearly and unquestionably defined by the actual original words of God's perfect design! The transcendent Creator of all that exists would not, and did not, and cannot, change in any way or to any degree from His original Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic expressions of His written record, but humans have twisted and perverted many of His perfect expressions into humanized concepts which allow them more control and influence over other humans. He never instructed humans to seek Him according to the concepts and perceptions of other humans, but according to the actual words of His revelation. This is where we must seek Him to find Him exactly as He revealed Himself.
Most, indeed almost all, however, who claim to proclaim Him and His design have never sought to know and conform to Him, and the power of His resurrected Son, according to His actual original expressions of Himself! Where have we gone??? What have we done??? This is why we must seek and teach His revelation, not solely in a humanized translation, but in His own chosen languages for His written record. We can, and often must, use translations, but we must proclaim and clarify their content exactly as His Holy Spirit moved His holy men to write His original words. Then, too, we must help all people, believers and nonbelievers alike, to learn and develop a familiarity with, and a proper appreciation for, His original Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic texts.
