Where is your Favorite Place in the World?

In Pastor's Sunday school class last week, we were listening to his lesson on creation but with frequent discussions happening (because our Sunday school class is a lot more interactive than the morning service). One of those involved favorite places in God's creation; another one was the best restaurant we ever ate at.

I was taken back in memory to our trip to Yellowstone National Park two and a half years ago. We visited several national parks in our drive out west and back and I found my favorite place on this entire earth, Badlands National Park in South Dakota.

This is not original to me, but I can bear witness to this fact. The light playing off the waves of rock at Badlands changes every single second. And the waves of rock extend as far as the eye can see. So every foot of rock changes every second and has for as long as Badlands has existed.

Now think with me of man's limited capability to perceive all that beauty. Even if the park were full of people every single day of every single year, someone is going to miss part of that undulating light somewhere in that landscape. So . . . God created a whole lot of beauty just for His own enjoyment. He created because He is creative and loves to create!!!
Man may be the crown of creation but there is a lot more to it than us! Creation shouts the amazing power and grandeur of our great God!

Brazil, South America! There are a lot of favorite spots that I have there. I haven’t been much anywhere else, so I don’t have much to compare. 😂
Amen!
Nova Scotia Canada is my favorite place although I haven't been there in a few decades.
