Linda is now receiving cancer drugs on a maintenance plan and is awaiting surgery on Oct 6th.

Tanisha hasn't started her new drugs yet. Has been on antibiotics due to infection, also had a fever, which has cleared up now and will start new drugs on Monday or Tuesday providing no fever or infection. If I'm understanding correctly, in this trial, some patients will receive the actual drug and some a placebo. Only the Dr will know who's received which one.

However, Tanisha will also receive the IVIg drug and the plasma exchange. I don't know the order in which she will receive all of this.

The Drs are convinced she will recover, but may take up to 19 mos or so. She does follow you with her eyes, but cannot follow commands. She does move her limbs but not on command. Drs say this is due to inflammation on the brain. Will keep you updated. Thanks for prayers.
