Sunday Update, 12/28

Mom and Dad got to talk to some doctors today who confirmed that even after all the rest this week following the various procedures they did during the bypass surgery that Dad’s heart continues to be in atrial fibrillation (AFIB). The doctors are planning to do a cardio version procedure tomorrow morning and then observe Dad for at least 24 hours to see how his heart responds. Please pray that this will set things in order for him. We expect him to be worn out after the procedure tomorrow as most anything he does in these days after the surgery saps his energy. Thanks for praying with us and letting him rest during these early days of recovery. I will be sure to update you when we know more from the doctors after the procedure tomorrow.
