PRAISE 🙌

I am working some long hours this week so thought I would share a cute story from work.

To a girl who knew very few non Caucasians before I went to college, my work group right now is really cool: seven Black men, five white men, two Asian men, one Hispanic man, and two other white women.

Three of the Black men have wives and are having a bit of a baby boom. Four children between them, with two on the way.

Today, one of those gents had a birthday. Another of them showed up with cupcakes. Clark started to thank him for making him cupcakes. Then he noticed a small cutout of his face on each one of them!

“Wait—how did you get my picture?”

After making up several stories to much laughter, Lett said, “Well, actually your wife dropped the cupcakes off to my wife.”

Of course, after eating the delicious cupcakes we started a game of Where’s Waldo?, I mean, Where’s Clark? by taping his face all over our workspaces!

They are my mission field but I have a lot of fun with them!
