I love this video of massed bagpipes and a band of seemingly hundreds of people. What I love most about it is the ten year old drummer who starts it all out, standing in front of the band director, beholding his face and his hands.

This little boy sets the tempo for a multitude, most of whom cannot see the band director’s face or follow his hands. They follow the little boy, who follows the director.

This reminds me of the Apostle Paul who said “Follow me, as I follow Christ.” It also reminds me of faithful pastors who behold His face and tell us what they see Him doing and saying. We have His Word. But we have faithful examples, too. God bless you, Pastor, Pastor Alex, and Pastor John.
