Pray for Pastor Baker
Pray for Dad. This week he has been sick with what we thought was a stomach virus. Saturday afternoon, Mom and Abby took him to the ER at our doctor’s suggestion because he was not getting any better. The doctors at Sentara Leigh have diagnosed him with pancreatitis. They admitted him late in the evening for observation. Due to the holiday, he will have a procedure on Tuesday morning to ensure his pancreas ducts are clear and his recovery can begin from this infection. They plan to keep him in the hospital until at least Wednesday. He’s resting tonight with pain medicine. If you’d like to visit on Sunday and Monday, that would help him pass the time. The doctors are happy with his heart function so there are no issues with that at all. Again we thank you for praying with us for these things. We are all going to Behold Our God again as He cares for each of us in the valleys we walk through.
