2 updates- last pm and this am
She is in a chair!! Tolerated the transfer well. Mentation/cognition remains a concern. Lethargic and not following command well. Not oriented to day place.
The only thing that may keep her in ICU another day is mentation, there is nothing medically to keep her here. but having her in ICU with one nurse to two patient ratio is MUCH better than floor nursing one to 4-6 patient ratio.
Please pray specifically for her cognition to improve.

She is back in bed but still totally sleeping so soundly she can barely be roused. Drs will conference again soon
Doing a head CT to rule out stroke or bleed, need 100% confirmation. Please pray!!
Nothing acute on the CT scan. There is indication of an old stroke (small) but nothing acute. They will do further testing to try to figure out any strange or remote possibilities but they are leaning toward ICU delirium. She will stay in ICU!
