6-25 Susan Update
Susan finally rested at least a few hours last night. She is not constantly agitated, but her cough is persistent. Asked for a chest xray to ensure there is no pneumonia. Still no fever. Her white count did go to 15.2. Again could just be the stress on her body, but watching regardless. Her CRP (measure of inflammation) did come down from 134 to 88.
They allowed her to rest overnight. I requested positioning assistance around 1:00 and from 1-5 she rested very well and comfortably with little coughing. Even with the persistent cough this morning she isn’t terribly restless.
Please pray for the cough to dissipate and for her to tolerate therapy well. Planning a chest xray this morning and also ran another 12 lead EKG. Waiting for the drs to round. Love to all💕
