Former Member who Grew Up at Tab/TBA
Tricia Smigel, whose mother was Aileen Toler, just asked for her 15-year-old son Maki to be on our prayer list. He is just about to enter Catholic High School but was hospitalized at CHKD last week when an X-ray revealed a large mass in his chest that was cancerous. It turned out to be interfering with various functions of his body and was immediately removed. It is now regarded as a non-life threatening cancer but he remains at CHKD, being moved from the ICU to the oncology ward.
His parents are members of the Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Norfolk and active members of that community locally. His mother was a longtime member of Tab before her marriage and asks us to pray for him/them.
