7-1 Update
We go this earlier today….
Another very long night for Susan. The cough medicine did not help again and she coughed all night long with only brief respites. They gave her a second Tessalon Perle around 3:30 this morning and she slept for a brief while in the recliner. Back to bed around 6:00 and fell asleep shortly thereafter. Surprisingly she was alert this morning after VW came in and was able to get up and use the potty chair. But her cough is increasingly persistent again.
Please pray for wisdom as decisions will need to be made for treatment of the blood clot after neurology consult and the heart and neurology teams working together towards an effective outcome. Pray for rest from this relentless cough and answers as to its origin. Love to all💕
