Last night wasn’t quite as good. She must have napped a little too much yesterday afternoon. She slept from 8 - 1 and it has been sporadic since. Her back pain is just enough to keep her uncomfortable. We use ice, which seems to help. Thankfully her cough seems to be getting a little better each day.
Her appetite / calorie intake is definitely better. She is cleared for regular food! Although tired, she still crushes her PT sessions.
Today we find out when they think she will be discharged home. She has been ready since June 15th, so it can’t be soon enough for her. We are thankful for the things she is accomplishing in therapy as well as the things we are learning about how the stroke affected her so we can better help her at home.
BP has been excellent the past couple days. Other vitals as well. Another day of progress ahead. Therapy should be finished around 2:00 this afternoon. We will try to manage her back pain / shoulder tension throughout the day. Love to all💕
