Update on Ray
Remembering Joey’s roommate of the last seven years, who had emergency surgery for an intestinal blockage right after the Thanksging weekend, he was finally released from the hospital New Year’s Eve after having had several more surgeries. He is at a rehab and will later move to permanent housing where he can have steady nursing support with his ostomy bag.
Pls pray that his parents and the state will be able to locate an appropriate place. Ray is around 40. The parents are in a restricted retirement community.
Also pls pray for Joey to find a new roommate. We have put out feelers with several people outside of his disabled community in Union Grove. The roommate does not need to be disabled but we don’t want a partier . . . It is a beautiful apartment right over the town square where the Christmas Tree lighting was. And a bargain at $600 a month each.
