Prayer for Rob
Rob, our son, was found collapsed and unconscious this morning. He was taken by ambulance to Chesapeake Regional. They have ruled out a stroke and a concussion. They were unable to secure his breathing so they sedated and intubated him and he is currently in the ICU. He is type 1 diabetic and they are managing that but they have no idea why his breathing is compromised. Blood work and tests are being performed. Please pray for God's will and for wisdom for doctors to properly diagnose his condition. Thank you.
UPDATE: Rob has been extubated and has had ice chips and water. He was ready to eat. All good signs. They do not know what his airways were compromised. The lungs are clear. His blood sugar is in a good range. New orders are in process to be moved to a step down unit or to a regular room. He wanted to just walk out. Please pray he stays at least another night to make sure he doesn't aspirate and to make sure his airways stay strong. He does not like hospitals at all. He is getting great care though. Thank you for praying for him. Your prayers are working.
PTL Continued prayers for Robbie to feel better and the meds are straighted out to avoid future issues.
